Choirs and Ensembles

Peace Adult Choir
Our largest choir helps to lead worship with hymns and anthems at many of our traditional Sunday and seasonal services. This group sings a variety of music from classical to the finest new music of the church. Rehearsals are held every Thursday from 7:30-9:00 pm September through May. Choir members must be able to learn parts and sing in harmony; basic music reading skills are helpful. New singers (high school age and older) are always welcome.

Bells of Peace
Handbells add their jubilant sound to our worship services from September through May. Although membership is limited, new members (high school age and older) occasionally are needed. Two requirements for ringing bells are note-reading ability and regular attendance at rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals are held every Thursday from 6:15-7:30 pm, and the bell choir plays at one or two services a month.

Peacemen
Our men's chorus enjoys singing a wide variety of music for church services and special events, including gospel, traditional, and contemporary. Members must be able to learn parts and sing well in harmony; basic music-reading skills are needed. Rehearsals are held on alternate Saturdays from 8:30-9:30 am from September through May.

Instrumental Ensemble
Instruments (brass, woodwinds, strings) are used in festival services throughou the church year to accompany hymns and anthems and to play special music of their own. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed.
